Abstract:
The tailor welded blanks are increasingly used in automobile manufacture and other industries.Square box is one of the typical workpieces in sheet metal processes. It is very important to study on the movement law of welding seams in the deep drawing process of tailor welded square boxes.The movement of welding seams of tailor welded blanks combined by different material and different thick sheet metal is studied in this paper.Meanwhile explicit finite element method DYNAFORM is used for simulation of the movement of welding seams.For verification ,experiments of deep drawing square boxes are carried out.The simulation results are in good agreement with the experimental results.
