Abstract:

This paper expatiates on several key technologies in operating reverse engineering of complex stamping parts and forming die design, such as data capture, data processing, surface reconstruction, solid modeling, forming simulation, etc. Moreover, with real cases, Reverse engineering in operating complex stamping parts and forming die design is divided into four main stages, namely, cognition, design, analyses and adjustments, processing and debugging. Through numerical simulation of material forming, parameters of stamping technics,die and blank measure\|ment are optimized.
