Electrical Upsetting is an advanced forming process In practice the process parameters could only be determined by experiments This paper analyzes electrical upsetting process and the parameters Based on plastic theory, thermodynamics and electric\|heating effect theory,the calculation methods of the parameters are deduced These methods provide foundation for the optimum control of the process
