Abstract:
In this paper, the requirement of stamping die CAD system is discussed firstly, and the characteristics of software component technology are introduced in brief. On the basis of the analysis of the design processes of stamping die and its hierarchical decompounds, a design method is proposed for stamping die CAD system based on software component technology, and an example is presented accordingly. By using this method, the difficulty of application development can be reduced, and the CAD system is highly reused, easy to extend and has better opening architecture.
