Abstract：

A method for geometric design of cross roller based on NURBS surface modeling of Mechanical DeskTop(MDT) is presented in this paper. The 3 dimension geometric model of the cross roller and of the curve along which the roller is in contact with the workpiece is also disussed in detail. An example is given at the end of this paper.
