Abstract:
The hydroforming of sheet metal in pairs is a new process for sheet metal forming It has many advantages such as good formability, short time for manufacturing and lower costs, etc., especially adapt to producing sheet metal parts with small batch and complicated shapes In this paper, the process is researched experimentally and theoretically, the forming principle and the process features are introduced The forming process are analyzed The methods were put forward to improving the forming limit The forming experiments are carried out The results show that the analysis results are in good agreement with experiments
