Abstract:
The concept and characteristics of virtual manufacturing (VM) as well as its key contents and technologies are briefly introduced Furthermore, both the current state of research and application of VM technology and the feasibility of applying the VM technology in die&mould industry are fully discussed Finally,the promising future of the application of CAD/CAE/CAM in die&mould industry is discussed in this paper
