Abstract:
In this paper,a new process method combines cold extrusion with blanking is adapted for large relative height (H/d)hollow forging parts. Not only the production efficiency is improved greatly,but also products quality is much better than that of hot forging products Through FEM for the whole deformation we can observe completely the dynamic change of stress field,strain field and velocity field The result of finite element offers a firm academic support for the analysis of metal flowing rules in plastic deformation and can provide us with useful reference for optimization of process design The full tally betweem the result of experiment and FE simulation not only proves the possibility of the new method but also provides a new thought for the production of analogical parts
