Abstract:

Mould & die manufacturing represent a significant area of production technology since it influences the feasibility of producing a very large number of discrete components. Because modern mould & die manufacturing includes just about all aspects of manufacturing, integration system must be adopted. There is no enough timely information communication in present mould & die CAD/CAE/CAM integration system, so the efficiency of the system is depreciated. In order to overcome this drawback, the authors present an integration system of mould & die CAD/CAE/CAM based on CSCW. The construction of CSCW environment, structure design of Agent, logical correlation and decomposition of tasks, product data management of the system are also described in detail in this paper.
