Abstract:
The deformation characteristics of multi\|point forming and stamping methods for sheet metal parts is analyzed by means of finite element method.And the influence of different forming methods on the wrinkling is compared in detail.The critical curvature and normal strain when the wrinkle is about to appear are evaluated during the MPF and the stamping processes.The great influence of multi\|point press forming method on the improvement of the forming ability and quality is explained further relative to the multi\|point die forming and stamping methods.
