Abstract:
In the simulation of rigid plastic FEM with a penalty function,penalty coefficient implying a punishment to the volume change of the workpiece,will affect the precision and convergence of the solution.In this paper,some actual calculations are conducted,then a simple but efficient method is presented to determine the value of penalty coefficient.
