Abstract:
The paper gives a new kind of method to form the tube directly in the compound process of bulging and extrusion with a polyurethane bar, which uses the plastic theory of metal forming to ana- lyze the forming processes. To get the distribution laws of stress and strain and to obtain the process parameters when the branch is the longest, the method of“the strain samples”is putup. The relation- ship among the forming forces was discussed. It ought to be suitable to make forming metal in a very strong pressure and appropriate partial stress state in order to get the longest branch.
