Abstract:
In this paper, the structural superplasticity of the W6Mo5Cr4V2 high speed steel wasstudied. The results showed that after it was treated by 1040℃, 2 times circular quenching, the struc-tural superplasticity could be reached under conditions of (2. 0~5. 5) × 10-4s-1 and temperature of 780~815℃. The superplastic elongation of this steel could be reached 192%, the maximum flow stress wasonly 58. 2 MPa and strain rate sensistivity (m) was 0. 27 under the optimum conditions of tensile testwith ε0= 3. 33 × 10-4s -1, 810 ℃.
