Abstract:
According to the Hart's stability criterion an inequality which expresses the strain rate condition for diffusion and transfer of neck in tension of superplastic materials was derived in this paper. Based on it, why a large elongation can be obtained in the region Ⅱ and can not in the regions Ⅰ and Ⅲ may be explained from another side. Besides, the influence of the amount of deformation and mode of loading was analyzed briefly.
