Abstract:

This paper introduces the application of the FEM-based computer simulation to metal forming in the U.S.A. It involves the FEM-based ALPID code, the common simulation of metal forming processes, the influence of the process parameter and condition on metal flow, and the new developing tendency of the simulation.
