Abstract:

Making use of the characteristic of 2-D section deforming of sheet metal, a local rezoningalgorithm for disforted FEM mesh used in 2-D section analysis of sheet metal is established according toLaplace transformation. The solving process is realized by finite element method. The relation betweenlocal and global variables in rezoning is determined, and the information transference from old mesh tonew one in local area is made. The comparison of the deformed grids and the distribution patterns of ef-fective stress and strain before and after rezoning verifies the accuracy and reliability of the acceptedmethod.
