Abstract:

The fundamental solution for solving rigid plastic problem is established by using the linear fast descending function, from which the boundary integral equation and formulations of boundary element method are derived in the present paper. The rigid plastic plane strain compressing problem is solved by those formulations. The calculated results show a good agreement with experimental ones.
