Abstract:
The mechanical properties of inward coiling for the metal tube were analyzed.Under the assumption of Prandtl-Reuss flow rule, the incremental elasto-plastic large deformation finite element model was established based on the Updated Lagrangian Formulation(ULF).The elasto-plastic conversions of boundary and deformation were processed with rmin rule. The friction phenomenon that had slippage and viscosity at the boundary interface was handled with increment of revision Coulomb rule. The increment was led into the whole stiffness matrix, and derived out the stiffness equation.Finite element simulation and experimental result have a good consistency.
