Abstract:
3-D finite element method(FEM) was adopted to comparatively analyze the axial metal flow of the heavy section shrinkage and regular section shrinkage cross wedge rolling,which had found that the axial metal flow of heavy section shrinkage cross wedge rolling had its own features.Larger contact zone results in bigger friction,and larger deforming district makes metal deforming to be formed very difficult.The district makes the outer axial metal flow laging behind the inner axial metal flow a lot in the scope of contact zone,so that the outer metal axial flow speeds-up the inter axial metal flow after the metal leaves off the scope of contact zone.
