Abstract:
The influence of performed blank thickness and deviation on the forming quality of the spun parts during cup-shaped thin-walled trapezoidal inner gear spinning were discussed based on numerical simulation and experimental investigation.It shows that when the performed blank thickness is undersize,the excess reduction ratio results in a decrease of tooth height and indentation on the outside of workpiece,due to lack of sufficient filling material.The uniformity of performed blank thickness can also influence the inner gear forming.The thickness deviation within 2.5% is helpful to improve the quality of inner gear.
