Abstract:
The characteristics of synchronous rolling with multiple wedges was introduced simply in the paper. On the basis of the characteristics, several important problems, the selection for forming angle and spreading angle of secondary wedge as well as computing for spreading length of the secondary wedge, the design of the begining position of the wedges, the. length design for the step between the main and secondary wedges, the design for the minimttm inclined angle on the forming surface of the secondary wedge, were proposed and solved. Finally the example of die design for a typical workpiece was presented.
