Abstract:

The aim of this investigation is to obtain the accurate calibration curves for Determining friction from the Hot Ring Compression test. However, some errors have been found in comparison fo the theoretical computer solutions to the practical ringtest results. A corrective method is adopted. Mathematical solution of the equations for this calibration was Performed by writing the program in ALGOL 60 and using a DJS-6 Computer
