Abstract:

FEM was used to research the cold forging process for progressive die of small and precise T iron for telephone receiver.The filling capacity of the metal,forming forces and the feasibility of the die structures in the impression die forging process with small flash and the blocking impression die forging process were analyzed and compared with each other.The result shows that the blocking impression die forging is more suitable for the cold forging process of progressive die of telephone receiver T iron.The precision cold forging process in progressive die of T iron for telephone receiver was put forward,in which the blocking impression die forging was combined with the open finish forging.This process scheme not only can control the filling of the material effectively but also reduces the whole forming forces.
