Abstract:
Three-dimension rigid-plastic finite element software,DEFORM-3D,was used to simulate the hot forming processing of lager thick-wall semi sphere head with supporting tables.The deformation characteristics of the blank were researched and the regulation of wall thickness distribution was obtained.Friction coefficient,radius of lower corner of female die,clearance of male and female die and blank shape were analyzed quantitatively and the rational processing parameters were determined.The 1∶3 scale experiment was done in 3150t hydraulic press and the test piece was measured.The result shows that the error between simulational and testing data is less than 5%.
