Abstract:

Major technical parameters in the shaping process of necking for cartridge globular female die-the necking force-were analyzed using the main stress analysis method of the metal plastic forming theory.On the basis of the consideration of the influencing factors,including the variety of material thickness,material work-hardening and the influence of bending,which were omitted in the existent analysis and calculation,a descriptive model on necking force for cartridge globular female die was set up.The results of the new formula were analyzed by example,and were compared with the experimented data.The comparison shows that the results of the new formula and the experimented data are close to each other.And finally parameter optimization idear was referred.
