Abstract:
The computation expression for the strain neutral layer of stress and plastic bending was introduced and so the thinning coefficient computing formula of sheet metal was deduced. When compared with the experimental data in former literature and the finished bending parts, the computing formula was consistent with practical application. The computing formula was revised after error analysis of experimental data, and the precision of thinning coefficient was improved by the revised formula.
