Abstract:
The reasons for tube fracture during power spinning were analyzed.The results show that little crack and metal collapse can cause the fractures on the inner wall of the tubes and the improper blank design or spinning parameters result in these defects.To insure the stable plastic deformation in forward flow spinning,the start working position shall not exceed the shaft shoulder,the blank design and working parameters must be optimized to avoid cracks and metal collapse.For these tubes with cylinder bottom,sampling the tube longitudinal section to inspect the quality of spinning part is needed.To some critical parts,it is necessary to carry out the nondestructive inspection thoroughly.
