Abstract:
The design quality and efficiency of rack die is one of the most key problems of precise cold-rolling technique.The parameterization design and development process of rack die with Pro/E and AGW in VB environment were introduced and the parameterization design method of spline shaft and rack die and the relationship between them were described.The spline shaft forming process and related factors were also analyzed.Through forming simulation of rack die produced by parameterization,the tooth profile of formed involute spline with theoretic involute spline tooth profile was compared and the feasibility of this design method was validated in order to provide technique support for later design analysis,numerical simulation and serial production of product.
