Abstract:
Experiments on ball spinning of thin-walled tube were discussed.The qualified products were manufactured based on the selected process parameters.The experimental results reveal that 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel has good spinning formability,and the key issue to achieve high precision is the adjustment of pass reduction and feeding rate.For 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel,the optimal wall thickness reduction is 30%~40%,and the proper feed rate is 0.1-0.3,which lead to the highest dimensional precision.
