Abstract:
Effect of RE cerium on strength,hardness,plasticity and impact ductility of 45Cr2NiMoVSi hot die steel was studied.The mechanical properties of 45Cr2NiMoVSi steel with five different contents of RE cerium were compared with those of the 45Cr2NiMoVSi steel without RE cerium under the same heat treatment process.The result shows that strength,hardness,plasticity and impact ductility of 45Cr2NiMoVSi steel are improved greatly if the content of RE cerium is proper.And when the content of RE cerium is 0.22%(mass percent),the 45Cr2NiMoVSi steel has the best mechanical property.
