Abstract:

The spring-back happens consequentially after unloading which reduces the efficiency and precision of the tube manufacturing.The mathematic relationship of the radius before spring-back and after spring-back was built through the equivalence curvature experiment,so the spring-back of the tube which was dispersed into some arcs could be compensated.Meanwhile,the shape of the compensated tube was confirmed by the joining method of the dispersed arcs,and the surface of the die which processed the tube could be modeled by the compensated tube shape.So the presented approach could provide a new method for processing the non-plane bended tube,and the effectiveness and accuracy were evaluated by the contrast of bended tube with the surface of the die.
