Abstract:
To further study the state of the internal defects of heavy section shrinkage workpiece under one cross wedge rolling,the rolling experiment under different process conditions was done on H500 rolling mill.It is found that when the cross section shrinkage of one cross wedge rolling workpiece is bigger than 75%,the rolled pieces are not easy to have macroscopic internal defects.The influence rules of processing parameters to the internal defects are discovered and the forming angle is the most important mechanical parameter to affect the internal defects.The big forming angle has a tendency to reduce the internal defects.The results provide a guideline for the internal defect formation mechanism.
