Abstract:
The problems on forging stock design of the steam turbine blade,such as non-uniform forging flash and overmuch times of testing forging were analyzed;the method,procedure and its key technology of optimized design for those problems were introduced.Simulation and analysis were carried out by using 3D rigid-viscoplastic FEM forward simulation for forging deformation of blade,and a reasonable shape and dimension of forging stock were obtained.As an example of the forging stock design for the steam turbine blade RL1016,the initial design of turbine blade's forgings by adopting available experience parameter was further described,the verification by application of forging simulation with the advanced Deform software was made.And it is proved that the optimized design is feasible in practice.With this new method,the material's utilizing rate is improved,the test times of forging are decreased effectively and even to be canceled,and it also has the reference value for the similar forging process.
