Abstract:
Virtual manufacturing is a new and advanced manufacturing concept and theory.Virtual assembling is an important branch of virtual manufacturing.Virtual assembling can assist to shake off the excessive dependent of physical prototype to test and assemble.It can improve the quality and velocity of product modeling and assembling.It has the benefit for decreasing product development cost and developing cycle.The present state of virtual assembling at home and abroad was introduced.The virtual assembling basic design thought and the connotation were analyzed and discussed.The mould virtual assembling technology was investigated to apply it in the mold design.The computer was used to finish the assembling process.The design efficiency becomes higher.The loss becomes lower due to the change of design and other factors.
