Abstract:

High inner-pressure hydro-forming is a new forming technology being developed in recent years.The characteristics and key technologies of high inner-pressure hydro-forming for T-branch tube were analysed.The corresponding thickness distribution and strain distribution at the different axial feeding speeds were studied by numerical simulation,and the forming capability influenced by axial feeding speed was also investigated.The calculated results show that when axial feeding speed is too large,the middle part of the main tube will be thickened and the crinkle is occurred,and when axial feeding speed is too small,it will be thinned and the crack is occurred.The selection of axial feeding speed has a strong influence on hydro-forming T-branch tube,and for the T-branch tube of TP2,0.5 mm·s-1 is regarded as the best parameter.
