Abstract:
2A50 aluminium alloy was applied to equal channel angular pressing.The die of 120° intersectant angle was designed.The specimen was rotated 90°clockwise between each pressing.The microstructure and physical character of 2A50 aluminium alloy were investigated after ECAP.The result shows that 2A50 aluminium alloy can be pressed many times under the room temperature successfully.The dimension of the grains drops to 164 nm and reaches the range of submicrocrystal level,meanwhile Vickers microhardness and the mechanical property rise greatly,but conductance declines markedly from 18784.63 S/M to 3553.27 S/M after 3 passes of ECAP.
