Abstract:
Owing to the disadvantages of the traditional process of austenitic stainless steel neck flange with a large hole,a new upsetting-extruding process with tubular billet was presented.The upsetting-extruding process of 0Cr18Ni9 flange was simulated by the Deform-3D software.The results show that the process is feasible and it has fewer procedures,higher material utilization ratio and lower forging load,which can improve the productivity and reduce manufacture cost.The process can also provide relative references for the similar part forming.
