Abstract:
Aiming at the problem that motorcycle back fender tends to be crinkled and cracked during the forming process,the plastic finite element method and Dynaform software were employed to simulate the forming process and optimize its two primary process parameters of figure and size of press border surface and heights of drawbead.The optimized shape and size of press border surface and drawbead height distributon were got.The motorcycle behind fender's crinkles and cracks were effectively avoided to have the qualified parts.
