Abstract:
The model of rolling thread shaft in cross wedge rolling was provided and the forming process of rolling trapeziform thread shaft in cross wedge rolling was simulated by the finite element software DEFORM-3D.The rule of stress distribution and change on the two important forming phases(shaping and exact shaping) was analyzed and the conclusion that the internal defects could not be produced in the middle of shaft was summarized.The rule provides theory guidance for the further study of cross wedge rolling forming thread shaft.
