Abstract:
Shells of wet tantalum capacitor by deep drawing have been unable to meet quality requirements because the seizing tumour appears easily during deep drawing.This paper analyzed the causes of forming seizing tumour,set forth the influence of mould material,mold surface quality,sheet metal surface quality and lubrication,etc.,pointed out that using high-speed steel as the mould material,dealing the surface of the die with oxygen and nitrogen and lubricating with lubricants based on CFC oil,the seizing tumour could be effectively solved.All solutions were verified by experiments and a transfer die was designed to produce shells successfully on the above-mentioned experiment results finally.
