Abstract:
Rubber fluid forming is a very important manufacture method in aircraft fabrication.Shrink flanging is a main fashion in rubber forming.Wrinkling is the main defect in shrink flanging.The different factors,such as die radius, fillet radius,flanging height and pressure,were studied by orthogonal array(OA)experiment.The effects of different factors and materials were analyzed.It is found that with the increase of the material strength,the tendency of wrink- ling increases.The die radius has the largest effect on the wrinkling process.The effect of the fillet radius on the wrin- kling decreases with the increase of the strength,whilst the effect of the pressure and flanging height on the wrinkling increases.
