Abstract:
The mechanical properties,forming limits and hole expansion ratios of High Strength Low Alloy Steel(HS- LA),Dual Phase Steel(DP)and Transformation Induced Plasticity Steel(TRIP)were studied and compared based on the experimental study of material properties and formability.The result shows that compared to conventional HS- LA steel,DP steel has relatively higher initial n value,which will ensure the strain distribution more even and improve the formability.TRIP steel has obviously higher forming limit because of its high n value,which is beneficial to the even strain distribution.When the yield strength of the steels is not in quite difference,the hole expansion ratios of DP Steel and TRIP Steel are much lower than that of HSLA Steel.
