Abstract:
The explosive deep drawing process of the flying terrace cover that was a complex curving work piece was studied using Ansys/LS-DYNA.Firstly,the mechanism of explosive deep drawing process was investigated.Second- ly,the simplified physical model based on special structure of flying terrace cover was established.At last,many im- portant results were gained,such as the simulated explosive process and the stress and strain distribution law at the different times in deformation process,the dangerous sections and so on.The results obtained by simulation are in good agreement with experiments.This can serve as a valuable reference for designing and manufacturing technology of the flying terrace cover.
