Abstract:
The whole cold extrusion process plan of SANTANA's L45449 automotive wheel hub bearing was determined.The cold extrusion die structure of wheel hub bearing rings was illustrated.In order to deal with the problem of large deformation resistance of bearing steel during cold extrusion,several convex rings were added on the inner surface of cavity die,which could preheat billet before extrusion.Experiments show that using this cold extrusion to produce automotive wheel hub bearing ring,the made products have the advantage of low material consumption,high mechanical strength,less equipment investment and great economic value.
