Abstract:
Drawing process of Cu-Al contact wire was investigated by DEFORM-3D.The distributions of stress/strain/velocity field were obtained.Apertures defect and bending phenomena were analyzed.By varying copper wire geometries,a better bonding was get.To keep contact wire straight,the Al sizing belt length should be adjust to 2 mm and Cu sizing belt length to 5 mm.The influence of the angles of drawing die was also analyzed.
