Abstract:
Several typical forming processes of damping spindle sleeve were briefly explained.Based on general finite element software Deform 3D,3D rigid visco-plastic FEM was used to simulate the precision forging process,the laws of material flow and equivalent plastic strain distribution were revealed based on the results of FEM simulation.The process parameters and mould structure for precision damping spindle sleeve forging were optimized.Experiments of damping spindle sleeve precision forging were made,the qualified damping spindle sleeve was formed,and FEM simulation results were verified by experiments.
