Abstract:
For rotary forging process is more complicated than that of other plastic deformation processes,rotary forging process design is accordingly more difficult and of heavy workload.The design efficiency and precision of rotary forging process were increased by developing the rotary forging deformation process CAD system.According to the structure feature of saving-oil device gear,some volume calculating models and structure design models were built,rotary forging die design model and lower die mechanics analyzing model were established,and some technical parameter models and power parameter models were also given.On these bases,rotary forging deformation process CAD system structure and functions were analyzed,and computer aided design for prefab blank,rotary forging dies and process parameters were realized.The design efficiency was raised more than 60%,waste product was reduced more than 25%,and some satisfactory design results were obtained with an example.
