Abstract:
Sheet metal NC incremental forming process can form the sheet metal parts quickly and economically without using dies.But the decline of the formed part surface finish which is caused by friction between the tool and the surface,has limited the popularization and application of this technology.Cladding NC incremental forming technology based on the experimental foundation was put forward.By using plastic film and the different thickness of aluminum sheets as claddings,some researches on the influence of claddings materials and lubrication to surface finish were done.The experiment proves that using good plastic metal claddings with lubrication between cladding and workpiece,can effectively reduce the friction and make sheet metal parts high surface finish without any scratch.
