Abstract:
The stress characteristic of the main working methods for processing the special-shaped wire,such as drawing,driven roller die and rolling was analyzed.Because the stress characteristics of drawing and driven roller die are biaxial draw stress and uniaxial pressure stress,so drawing or driven roller die is favorable to the non-ferrous metal of higher plasticity and is of disbennifit to that of lower plasticity.The production process become very difficult when non-ferrous metal of lower plasticity is broken.Although the stress characteristic of rolling is a triaxial pressure stress,rolling working is favorable both to the non-ferrous metal of higher or lower plasticity,but roller making and maintenance of rolling machine are very expensive.So it is better to use the rolling method for high yield production.The stress characteristic of swaging is the same as that of rolling.The production yield of swaging is lower.Swaging is maybe applicable for producing the special-shaped non-ferrous metal wire of lower plasticity,lower yield and high profit.
