Abstract:
In order to fulfill with the development of the oil industry,a new type of cylindrical ribwork sucker rod was designed.This sucker rod had good tired strength and fitting performance compared to the traditional one.According to the metal′s plasticity,two difficulties during the forging process for this sucker rod were expounded,and then,a set of high accuracy dies with simple structure were designed for Φ25.4 mm cylindrical ribwork sucker rod.The advantage of the production of this new type of sucker rod was verified that it was of high intensity and production efficiency as well as long service life.The social and economical efficiency is remarkable.
